Biography
Harits Yowansyah Pandayu Putra is an environmental and conservation practitioner with a background in Biology and a Master’s degree in Tropical Biodiversity Conservation. He has experience in HCV–HCS assessments, biodiversity surveys, peatland studies, and social impact assessments, particularly in the sustainable palm oil sector and among smallholder palm oil farmers. Harits has been involved in various national and international projects, including those with ISPO, RSPO, USAID, IUCN, and the New Zealand Embassy Fund. In the fields of conservation and capacity building, he has worked on projects with the Segre Foundation, the Rufford Foundation, and Fincapes. He has strong experience in field coordination, conservation land-use planning, and the development of youth organizations in the palm oil sector.
